I am a doctoral candidate at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University. My training is in electrical and biomedical engineering. I am a member of the Translational biophotonics lab in which I work on the development of novel microscopy diagnostic techniques and clinical studies. My long-term goal is to build unsupervised diagnostic modalities that will be reliable, robust, mobile, simple, and cheap. They will close the gap between needed and existing expertise, from third-world countries to developed countries, and provide healthcare from remote areas to the battlefield. Allowing everyone accesses to prime affordable healthcare like one in the world’s biggest healthcare centers. In my leisure time, I prefer to read, play sports or travel.
