McKenna's Internship with ISeeChange

Beginning in the summer of 2023, McKenna Chow, a GSP student, took on an internship with Glass Half Full with funding from the GSP. Read about McKenna's experience below!

"For the past few months, I have had the privilege of interning with ISeeChange through Tulane’s Gulf Scholars Program. I have learned valuable skills through this internship that will help me as I pursue a career in environmental law. I was able to learn more about communication, collaboration, and hone my writing skills through this internship. While my job as an intern was mainly writing environmental communications to send to ISeeChange users, I also got the chance to see New Orleans from a new light. Through attending community outreach meetings and interacting with people from all over the city, my appreciation for New Orleans has grown. This internship has helped my professional development and I am grateful for the funding that the Gulf Scholars provided in order to make it possible for me to participate in this internship while working as a full time student."
