Dr. Nithya Kasireddy

Dr. Nithya Kasireddy earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. She joined Dr. Khismatullin's laboratory at Tulane University as a PhD candidate in 2015. Her PhD research focused on rheological analysis of complex biological fluids, including whole blood and blood plasma, by acoustic tweezing coagulometry. She is a co-inventor of the acoustic tweezing spectroscopy technique. She successfully defended her PhD dissertation in November 2022. She currently serves as the CEO of Levisonics and continues to collaborate with Dr. Khismatullin’s laboratory on advancing acoustic tweezing technology.
