My work centers around the development and application of acoustic technologies to study complex fluid systems. I lead investigations into acoustic tweezing spectroscopy, levitated droplet dynamics, viscoelastic characterization, and strategies for blood coagulation treatment. A major focus of my research is the advancement of Acoustic Tweezing Coagulometry (ATC), a novel method that utilizes acoustic levitation to suspend droplets in mid-air, allowing for the precise analysis of blood coagulation dynamics without physical contact. I apply ATC to study coagulation in patients with hemophilia and those with trauma-induced coagulopathy, using acoustic tweezing to extract detailed rheological signatures from minute blood samples.

Outside the lab, I enjoy exploring the vibrant culture and natural beauty of New Orleans. I spend my free time immersed in music, photography, and hiking, as well as reading scientific literature beyond my field to draw interdisciplinary connections. I’m also passionate about mentoring students and fostering curiosity in young researchers, often engaging in STEM outreach and collaborative projects that bridge physics, biology, and engineering.
