Team Easy Breezy 548 (Gisele Calderon, Kelly Smith, Yonatan Kaplan, Carrie Griffith, and Elsie Rodebeck) mentored by Dr. Khismatullin won the first price at 2013 Tulane BME Team Design Show. They developed a prototype of a baby breathing monitor integrated inside an elastic belt that is expected to be worn on the abdomen of an infant.
