Dr. Shusheng Wang received his PhD in developmental biology at Tulane University in New Orleans in 2004. After completion his postdoctoral training with Dr. Eric Olson at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, he joined the department of Ophthalmology as a tenure track assistant professor in September 2009. His research is to explore the mechanism and potential therapeutics of noncoding RNAs and transcriptional factors in angiogenesis and degenerative retinal diseases.
