Kyle grew up in Covington, Louisiana with his mom, dad, and two sisters, one of whom is his twin. He attended and graduated salutatorian from St. Paul’s, where he discovered his love for all things math and science. He grew up playing soccer, baseball, and track and field, while competing in math tournaments and working as a math tutor. He continued on to get his undergraduate degree from Loyola University, where he graduated summa cum laude with university honors and honors in biological science and earned a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. After, he received his masters degree from Tulane University in biomedical engineering, and then accepted a wonderful opportunity to work with a Tulane research and development team as the lead design engineer for a novel orthopedic implant. Following this period, he returned to Tulane University to pursue his PhD. When Kyle isn’t studying, you can find him running the streets of Covington for miles and miles — training for his next marathon  — or he is back home baking bread and striving to create the perfect pizza in his pizza oven.
